Benarty Primary School Christmas Boxes for Care Home and Homeless Hostel

- Motion reference: S5M-23834
That the Parliament notes the efforts of the children in P5 at Benarty Primary School to make Christmas boxes for a local care home and a homeless hostel; believes that this is a kind-hearted gesture from children who would usually go to sing at a care home but were unable to do so because of the pandemic; understands that the boxes included letters from the pupils and a class card, as well as decorations, baubles and paper "hugs"; further understands that the boxes were quarantined for 72 hours before being given in order to minimise the risk to the recipients; thanks the teachers and pupils involved for their kind-heartedness and community spirit this festive season, and wishes all involved every success for the future.
