That the Parliament congratulates the family of Helen Hagan on her nomination for a Scottish Health Award; notes that Helen, a beloved and well respected former nursery nurse and children’s ward volunteer, has been posthumously recognised for her work in the Volunteers category; recognises Helen’s devoted service to the care of others, including her continued volunteer work after her retirement, which touched the lives of countless families, and acknowledges the work that volunteers in hospitals across Scotland do to support patients and families during extremely difficult and worrying times.
