UN International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer

That the Parliament recognises 16 September 2020 as the UN International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer; commends the work of the UN and member states across the globe for their commitment to tackling climate change, and mitigating practices that may damage the ozone layer; recognises the continuing efforts required by governments and international organisations to protect the natural world for future generations, and supports further work to ensure that Scotland fulfils its full role in multilateral efforts to safeguard against ozone depletion.
