That the Parliament welcomes Port of Aberdeen's announcement that its charitable donations will increase significantly to £100,000 in 2024; understands that this includes the creation of strategic, multi-year partnerships with four Aberdeen-based charities, with the Aberdeen FC Community Trust, Aberdeen Foyer, CFINE and the Denis Law Legacy Trust each receiving £15,000 in 2024 and 2025, and the possibility of these partnerships extending further into the future; notes that nine other community projects will share a further £25,000 in funding thanks to Port of Aberdeen's 2024 supPORT-all programme, with another £15,000 allocated to charities and community projects suggested by Port of Aberdeen employees; praises the port's commitment towards having a positive impact on the community and building strong relationships with charities, and wishes all those benefiting from this funding all the best with their chosen projects.
