Benarty Community Council Group Citizens of the Year Award 2023

That the Parliament notes that Benarty Community Council recently presented its annual Group Citizens of the Year Award 2023; understands that the award went to Benarty Events Group for its continued commitment to the local area; recognises that Benarty Events Group is responsible for a number of events in the local community, including the Benarty Gala, Pipe Band and Highland Dancing Competition, Rockore, and the weekly Companion Club; commends the volunteers of Benarty Events Group for their continued hard work and dedication to the local community, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
