Scottish Sports Futures Youth Worker of Year Award

That the Parliament congratulate Irvine’s Zara Kirkwood on winning Scottish Sports Futures (SSF) Youth Worker of Year award; understands that Zara engaged with SSF as a young person before moving on to volunteer and subsequently becoming a staff member, where she uses her lived experience to support young people in her care; considers that SSF enables young people to be healthier, more confident and more resilient, so that they are better prepared to combat the effects of poverty, trauma, and adversity; congratulates Zara on her award, and wishes her every success in the future.
