- Motion reference: S5M-23536.3
As an amendment to motion S5M-23536 in the name of Richard Leonard (Business Support), insert at end "; believes that increasing levels of unionisation will be essential to ensure that support for businesses benefits the workforce; welcomes the 11.4% increase in membership reported by Unite Hospitality since the start of the pandemic, in a sector with chronically low levels of unionisation, and commends Unite Hospitality on its work, including the demand for a minimum wage floor to be incorporated into the Job Retention Scheme to ensure that furloughed workers are not forced into deeper poverty."
