Good morning, and welcome to this 13th meeting of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee in 2020. The first item today is to ask John Scott, who is joining the committee, to declare any relevant interests.
I have no relevant interests to declare.
Thank you very much for coming along and being part of the committee. I know that you have experience of dealing with important parliamentary issues. John Scott comes on to the committee to replace Alexander Stewart, and I put on record my and the committee’s thanks to Alexander for his work with us. He was not with us for long, but he made a good contribution, so our thanks go to him. We welcome John Scott to the committee.
