To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with the UK Government regarding how many additional EU-related jobs HMRC plans to locate in Scotland by March 2019 if there is a no-deal Brexit.

The UK Government has not yet shared any contingency plans that it may have developed in respect of HMRC staffing in the event of a "no deal" Brexit. Scotland enjoys a substantial pool of technical tax expertise and the Scottish Government would expect a substantial portion of any new jobs created to be based here.
