S5W-14289: Kezia Dugdale (Lothian)

Scottish Labour

Date lodged: 31 January 2018

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide a breakdown of how it will allocate the proposed £161.1 million increase in rail infrastructure, which was announced in the Budget.

Answered by: Humza Yousaf 21 February 2018

The increase in the rail infrastructure budget is due to a reclassification of expenditure from the Rail Franchise Resource budget in respect of the Fixed Track Access Charges. There is a corresponding reduction in the resource budget.
