To ask the Scottish Government what level of community benefit must be paid by renewable energy generators to qualify for rates relief.

Renewables energy generation relief up to 100% may be available if a scheme has arrangements in place that entitle one or more community organisations to:

at least 15% of the annual profit, or

so much of the annual profit as is attributable to 1 megawatt of the total installed capacity of the project.
