To ask the Scottish Government what its policy is on large-scale recreational killing of mountain hares, in light of reports of one estate claiming to have shot up to 2,000 in the course of a season.

The Scottish Government recognises that mountain hare numbers need to be controlled in some circumstances but does not support large-scale culls.
