To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with (a) Ineos and (b) Unite the Union following the reported breakdown of talks at the Ineos petrochemical plant in Grangemouth.

The Scottish Government is engaging with both Unite the Union and Ineos and will continue to work closely with both organisations during and beyond the negotiation period. The Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Jobs and Fair Work met with representatives of Unite the Union on 27 April 2017 and met with Ineos representatives on 30 March 2017.
