S5W-04693: Richard Lyle (Uddingston and Bellshill)

Scottish National Party

Date lodged: 28 November 2016

To ask the Scottish Government what the traffic noise levels at Burnacre Gardens in Uddingston (a) are and (b) were prior to works being undertaken.

Answered by: Keith Brown 7 December 2016

Noise monitoring will be undertaken 12 months after the opening of the new road. The results of this noise monitoring will determine whether noise levels predicted in the Environmental Statement have been met or not and will also form the basis for consideration of claims under relevant legislation.
