To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with the UK Government on the exemption from business rates of rooftop solar cells and panels, particularly self-supply and what the outcome was.

The Scottish Government has had no recent discussions with the UK Government on the existing plant and machinery exemptions relating to power generation relying on a solar power source.
