To ask the Scottish Government whether it consulted independent organisations before proposing an increase of the upper age limit for eligibility for a student maintenance loan from 55 to 60.

The Scottish Government consulted a number of independent organisations, including Universities Scotland, NUS Scotland and the Scottish Older Person’s Assembly.
