To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-02892 by Annabelle Ewing on 27 September 2016, how many arrests were made in relation to the Aberdeen v Rangers match of 25 September 2016, and how many of these were in relation to (a) the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012 and (b) various offences directly related to the match.

Investigations into disorder related to the Aberdeen FC v Rangers FC match on 25 September 2016 are still on-going. Police Scotland has advised that to date two individuals have been charged with alleged breaches of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012 and a further two individuals have been arrested for other offences directly related to the match. Police Scotland has confirmed that officers are examining footage from the match in order to identify those responsible for disorder, vandalism, offensive and antisocial behaviour.
