Question

To ask the Scottish Government whether it currently has a licence to deliver ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and safeTALK training nationally and, if so, whether it plans to renew this licence.


Answer

Public Health Scotland currently holds the LivingWorks licence for both the ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and safeTALK training programmes in Scotland. Public Health Scotland’s continued role as licence holder for Scotland is reviewed on an annual basis.
