To ask the Scottish Government what assessment it has made of its delivery of child winter heating payment assistance.
Answer
Social Security Scotland successfully made payments of Child Winter Heating Assistance (CWHA) to eligible clients across Scotland beginning the week commencing 23 November 2020. Social Security Scotland has paid 13,889 clients as of 25 January 2021, with a total value of £2,777,800.
