Question
To ask the Scottish Government what consideration has been given to extending the use of concessionary ferry travel vouchers that are due to expire on 31 March 2021, in light of the restrictions on travel due to COVID-19.
Answer
In the light of the additional restrictions announced by the First Minister on 4 January, I can confirm that people who use their concessionary ferry vouchers to book a journey by 31 March this year but are not able to travel due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions will be able to use these ferry vouchers up to the end of September 2021.
