Question
To ask the Scottish Government whether different training will be required for staff to administer the Pfizer-BioNTech and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines.
Answer
Our approach to Covid-19 vaccination training builds on the well-established National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training.
All individuals participating in the vaccination programme require to be trained on the specific characteristics of the vaccines they are administering.
