Question

To ask the Scottish Government what support it will provide to help care home companies provide culturally-sensitive information to care home residents, their staff, carers and workers.

Answer

The Scottish Government published National Care Standards on 9 June 2017. This lays down that irrespective of age, ability or cultural background we are all entitled to the same high quality of care and support. The care inspectorate will take into account these standards when carrying out their inspections.
