Question

To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) meetings, virtual or otherwise, and (b) other electronic communications it has had with the British Pregnancy Advisory Service regarding abortion services in each of the last five years.

Answer

The Scottish Government met the British Pregnancy Advisory Service once in 2016 and once in 2019, but is not aware of other scheduled meetings between the Scottish Government and BPAS over the past five years. Officials occasionally correspond by telephone or email with BPAS staff. However there is no record of the number of these communications over the last five years.
