That the Parliament congratulates Melanie Shand, from Finzean, on receiving a BEM in The Queen’s New Year’s Honours List; understands that Mel has been recognised for her services to the arts and community during the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw her develop the NeedaNeighbour chat group and sew NHS scrubs; commends Mel's dedication to the community, and wishes her all the best for the future.
