First Women Elected General Secretary of UNISON

That the Parliament congratulates Christina McNea on becoming the first woman to be elected the General Secretary of the trade union, UNISON; understands that Christina, who was born in Glasgow, won 47% of the vote in the ballot, and looks forward to working with her and UNISON to promote the vital public services that help civilise society.
