66th Edinburgh North East Charlotte Chapel Scouts Celebrate Centenary

That the Parliament congratulate the 66th Edinburgh North East Charlotte Chapel Scouts group who were founded 100 years ago this week making 2021 their centenary year; notes that a competition to design a centenary badge was won by a Cub and will be worn this year; understands approximately 110 young people made up of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers along with adult volunteers meets on a Friday evening; acknowledges that during the COVID-19 pandemic the Scout group has been unable to meet in person but have organised a number of remote activities including a virtual camp, where Scouts camped in their back gardens for the period they were due to be away at camp; understands outdoor reunions and a barbecue are being planned for June 2021, and wishes all at the group a very happy 100th birthday.
