Jenna Gibson Named Scottish Neonatal Nurse of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Jenna Gibson on being named the Neonatal Nurse of the Year; understands that Jenna is a neonatal nurse at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, and was named during the conference hosted by the Scottish Neonatal Nurses Group; notes that this is the first time the award was opened up to other nurses; understands that colleagues think of Jenna as “a happy face that everyone loves to see on the unit, an inspiring leader and oozes positivity, even in difficult times”; notes that Jenna has been studying throughout her role and has completed her Masters in Advanced Practice and will be working with the University of West Scotland to highlight her progress helping to inspire others; thanks Jenna for her unwavering commitment to the babies and families, and wishes her all the very best for the future.
