That the Parliament congratulates the Almond Valley resident, Laura Pilkington, who has been appointed to the Young People's Sport Panel, which is a sportscotland initiative and supported by Young Scot; acknowledges that Laura is one of 20 young people who will play a crucial role in developing sport over the next two years; notes that the panel aims to provide a voice for young people to influence and shape the future of sport across the country and raise its profile; welcomes the efforts of sportscotland and Young Scot to involve young people in sport, and wishes Laura every success in her new appointment and her future career.
