East Kilbride's Fiona Rogers Becomes a Member of Scottish Disability Sport's Young Persons' Sport Panel

That the Parliament congratulates Fiona Rogers from East Kilbride, who was recently appointed to Scottish Disability Sport's Young Persons’ Sport Panel; understands that the Panel is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and, as one of 14 young people from across Scotland who will serve on the panel for the next three years, Fiona is in the position to provide a voice for all young people involved in disability sport in Scotland to help achieve better equality and inclusion; notes that the former pupil of Sanderson High School in East Kilbride has not let her learning disability stop her doing the things that she loves, and that her determination and commitment led her to study Access to Sport and Fitness at New College Lanarkshire; applauds Fiona’s resolve to one day become a sports coach, and wishes her all the very best in her future endeavours.
