That the Parliament congratulates Perth and Kinross Council’s City Centre Action group on approving a £50,000 budget to help local businesses during the winter; notes that the group, which comprises councillors and business representatives, made the decision following the cancellation of the City of Perth Winter Festival in August 2020; further notes that it is hoped the campaign will encourage Perthshire residents to shop locally, especially in the build-up to Christmas, and extends its best wishes to the initiative.
