That the Parliament congratulates the winners and nominees at the LGiU Scotland and CCLA Councillor Awards, which were presented on 24 November 2020; believes that Scotland's over 1,200 councillors are all working hard to represent and support their communities; notes that these awards recognise those who go the extra mile for their constituents; acknowledges that there were eight categories, including two new awards, which recognised collaborative working and community leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes what it sees as the great investment that CCLA makes in local authorities; commends Scotland's councillors for their exceptionally hard work during these unprecedented times, and wishes the winners and nominees all the very best in their continuing endeavours.
