That the Parliament congratulates the new partnership between Galloway Mountain Rescue Team and Ayr Community Fire Service; notes that this partnership will extend rescue response capabilities and help protect communities; acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the 38-strong Galloway Mountain Rescue Team of volunteers who currently provide search and rescue services from their Newton Stewart base and also work alongside other emergency services, and recognises the work all such teams across Scotland.
