That the Parliament congratulates Thomas Truby, who is from Torphins, on winning the Aberdeenshire’s Future Award at the 2020 Inspiring Aberdeenshire ceremony; recognises that this annual event celebrates the achievements of people across Aberdeenshire for their dedication and community spirit; understands that Thomas is passionate about the environment and started The Rubbish Club, which has reached over 2,600 people on Facebook; notes that he supports his community by picking up litter, giving talks in schools and encouraging other young people to take action against climate change, and wishes Thomas all the best for the future.
