That the Parliament welcomes the initiative of the organisers of Edinburgh's Christmas in deciding to host a series of virtual events; celebrates that these will be used to support the capital's businesses via the creation of a "virtual market" that will host a range of small businesses, from jewellers to bakers; believes that this venture will be particularly welcome to small business owners given the current challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and wishes everyone taking part in Edinburgh's Virtual Christmas every success for 2020 and beyond.
