NHS Lanarkshire Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Recognised for its Work

That the Parliament congratulates the NHS Lanarkshire Mental Health and Learning Disability Service on winning the Citizens' Award for its Dementia Post Diagnostic Support Online Resource at the Holyrood Connect public Sector ICT awards; commends the team for its efforts to enhance dementia post-diagnostic support through the use of technology; believes that more than 10,000 people in Lanarkshire have dementia, with around 800 more being diagnosed each year; understands that information about all of the area's dementia services, peer support groups and carer groups is now in one easy to access resource, which in its first six months, was accessed more than 1,800 times, and wishes the team well on the development of the resource.
