Gold Award for Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

That the Parliament welcomes the recent Green Tourism Scheme Gold Award for Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum; understands that the scheme, which is administered by VisitScotland, acknowledges environmentally-friendly practice and is a recognised hallmark of green quality, with businesses being assessed by a qualified grading advisor on a set of criteria, which include energy efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and community involvement; believes Kelvingrove has excelled in meeting these criteria with its Gold Award status, and congratulates everyone involved on their part in ensuring that it is a sustainable tourism venue.
