Congratulations to Ayrshire Children’s Services

That the Parliament congratulates Ayrshire Children’s Services of North Ayrshire on winning the Global Business Award for the Most Innovative Community Wealth Builder in Scotland; understands that this is the reward for its continuous efforts in helping children and young people with additional support needs grow up to become independent individuals; notes its invaluable contribution to reducing feelings of isolation within the community even in the hardest of times; recognises those whose support has been vital in giving many families from North Ayrshire some well-deserved respite; is aware of the diverse work provided by the team and its founder, Marianne Greenway, such as one-to-one support, group support, education outreach and home and transitional support; acknowledges the establishment of KO-NEKT Skills Centres as havens of refuge and safety for children with autism and additional support needs; applauds everyone involved with Ayrshire Children’s Services for their commitment, passion and outstanding work, and wishes the organisation every success in its future endeavours.
