That the Parliament notes Organic September 2020; acknowledges the work of the Soil Association in raising awareness of organic products and the producers and farmers involved; endorses the key benefits of organic food and farming, which include the support of biodiversity and wildlife, tackling climate change, promoting the highest standards of animal welfare and reducing pesticide use, and supports further work to ensure that Scotland fulfils its full role in international efforts to ensure a more organically driven world.
