Sense Scotland Celebrates its 35th Anniversary

  • Submitted by: Jeremy Balfour, Lothian, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 08 September 2020
  • Motion reference: S5M-22653

That the Parliament congratulates Sense Scotland as it celebrates its 35th anniversary; notes that, since 1985, the charity has grown from a small group of families pressing for services for their children, who were affected by deafblindness, to successfully supporting thousands of disabled people and their families across thousands of projects and services throughout Scotland; acknowledges as part of its celebrations, it is asking supporters to help raise sponsorship with their take on #35waysin35days; understands that, during the 35 days from 29 August to 2 October, supporters can undertake any kind of challenge that involves the numbers 3.5 or 35, and wishes Sense Scotland continued success.
