Macduff Distillery Marks 60th Anniversary

That the Parliament notes that Macduff Distillery in Banffshire, producers of The Deveron and, previously, Glen Deveron single malt whiskies, marks its 60th anniversary on 1 September 2020; congratulates staff and managers on this historic milestone; acknowledges the benefits that the distillery has brought to the Macduff area since it opened in 1960; further notes that, in recent months, Macduff Distillery has played its part in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by producing over 15,000 litres of hand sanitiser for use at national and local level by the emergency services, NHS and care homes, and expresses hopes for a successful and sustainable future for distilling at Macduff.
