Scotland Rugby's New President, Ian Barr

That the Parliament congratulates Ian Barr, who is a farmer from Bonnyrigg, on his election to the role of President of Scottish Rugby; understands that Ian will be the 128th person to hold this position and is the first to be elected from Lasswade Rugby Club; acknowledges that Ian was first elected to the Scottish Rugby Council in 2012 and has served on the Scottish Rugby Board; notes that he steps into this position from the role of Vice-President, and wishes Ian all the best in his new position.
