Armed Services Advice Project Celebrates 10th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates the Armed Services Advice Project (ASAP) on celebrating its 10th anniversary; notes that, since it was formed in 2010, it has provided vital support and advice to 15,950 people in Scotland; commends the project for helping ex-military personnel and their families secure £17.6 million across the decade by supporting them through, for example, social security and charitable support applications; acknowledges the important collaboration between Poppyscotland and Citizens Advice Scotland in driving the work of ASAP; welcomes the project’s provision of bespoke one-to-one advice, and particularly commends the ongoing support that it has provided in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
