Fife Voluntary Action's Prescription Collection and Delivery Service

That the Parliament commends Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) for its exemplary support to community pharmacies and the people of Fife during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that FVA has partnered with NHS Fife, the Health and Social Care Partnership and Fife Council to launch a prescription delivery service involving over 80 pharmacies across the region; welcomes that FVA has collected prescriptions and delivered medication for priority, vulnerable and shielded people at an extremely challenging time for health and social care services; highlights the role of the volunteer drivers in providing this service; considers the support that FVA has provided to be invaluable, and wishes well with its continued with its current and future efforts.
