That the Parliament congratulates Campbell Hunter, who is from Scalloway, on being named Trainee Fisherman of the Year at the national Fishing News Awards 2020; notes that these awards highlight the achievements, innovations and successes of the commercial fishing industries in the UK and Ireland; understands that Campbell, who is a crewman on the whitefish trawler, Guiding Light (LK 84), has shown dedication and enthusiasm for his studies and training at the NAFC Marine Centre in Scalloway to pursue a career in fishing; believes that his drive and success shows that the future of the fishing industry in Shetland is in good hands, and wishes Campbell well for the future.
