Shetland Fire Safety Learning Packs

That the Parliament commends firefighter Amy Gerrard’s efforts to create home education packs for children in Shetland to learn about fire safety; understands that Amy, who is a Watch Commander in Lerwick, created the packs after seeing how learning has moved online for her own daughter; notes that the packs are suitable for children of all ages and include fun interactive information on how to prevent, detect and escape fire, and thanks Amy for her work in the fire service and for helping to engage young people and their parents on keeping safe.
