That the Parliament praises Harrods Dry Cleaners in Paisley for its efforts in offering its services free to older people and NHS workers during the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that the business will collect, clean and drop off clothes to help protect older residents over the age of 80 from contracting the virus; recognises the benefit that such a service will have for older and vulnerable residents who may not be able to complete household tasks by themselves; understands that NHS workers will also be supported by the free service to help ease pressure on their time after long shifts at work; notes that the service is being supported by a team of local volunteers who provide cleaning and driving services, and believes that this show of selfless community support is an inspiration for others to follow.
