That the Parliament congratulates Utheo Ltd, which operates the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre in Bellshill in the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency; understands that an award totalling £324,887 has been made through the National Lottery's Large Grants Scotland: Improving Lives fund; notes that the group will use this five-year grant to continue and expand the Befriend in Bellshill project, which supports socially isolated older people and disabled people through a volunteer befriending project; further understands that the project provides support that helps people to maintain their independence, increase their social relationships and engage in community activities; notes that the project will engage with 275 people and 90 volunteers from the Bellshill and Coatbridge areas, and wishes the project and all at Utheo Ltd the best of success in the future.
