St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation, Tackling COVID-19 Challenges

That the Parliament praises the efforts of the St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation on working tirelessly to collect essential items and deliver them across Paisley to people in need during the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that the foundation, which is led by its, CEO Gayle Brannigan, provides vital support throughout Ferguslie Park and the wider community by using physical activity and movement, in all its forms, as an engagement tool to achieve positive change; acknowledges the success of its initiatives, including the educational programme, Future Entrepreneurship, which supports adults who are disconnected from society or experiencing loneliness, its Men’s Shed, and the Fit Fans In Training health and wellbeing programme, which tackles obesity and aims to improve mental fitness; applauds all involved with the Foundation's past and current programmes and its ongoing effort to meet the challenges faced during the COVID-19 outbreak, and wishes everyone involved with it continued good health and safety during these unprecedented times.
