Recognising LifeCare Edinburgh's Contributions to Community Wellbeing

That the Parliament acknowledges LifeCare Edinburgh and what it sees as its important work in providing uplifting, positive and practical support for older people; understands that, for 80 years, LifeCare Edinburgh has provided services to older people, including day clubs, support with household tasks, and home care to allow older people to thrive in their homes and community; recognises what it sees as the importance of organisations such as LifeCare in fostering community wellbeing and alleviating isolation in older people; commends LifeCare Edinburgh’s work in advocating for the needs and wellbeing of older people; extends its appreciation to LifeCare Edinburgh's dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters for their commitment and hard work in 2024 and beyond, and wishes for the continued success of LifeCare Edinburgh.
