Question
To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S6W-23132 by Jenni Minto on 4 December 2023, when it will provide an update on any action taken or proposed by the Scottish Executive Nurse Directors (SEND) to address any shortfalls and inconsistencies in stoma care and stoma specialist nurse coverage across Scotland as a result of the exercise.
Answer
Officials intend to present a paper to the Scottish Executive Nurse Directors (SEND) outlining the results of the information gathering exercise, with a view to providing an update on the outcomes of the group's consideration of the paper by the summer.
